About The Event
The annual Green Uniform Programme was successfully carried out in May. We collected summer and winter uniforms from both primary and lower grades of secondary students. About 12 carton boxes of uniforms were collected over a week. 14 parent volunteers came to school to help on the sorting and laying them out on the tables by brands and sizes in about an hour and half! PTA executive committees came to help run the Green Uniform Stall the next day at our School Hall. Most of our uniforms were gone by the end of the stall hour. We still have some saved for the next round in July. In addition, we spared some of the uniforms to be donated to an orphanage in the Philippines, arranged by Caroline, one of the PD parents. Thank you for your participation in this meaningful event, so that we can make a difference and help protect our environment. Thank you for all the parent volunteers and PTA members coming to be a part of this and making it a blast!
